We are an Equal Opportunity Employer looking for career minded individuals who would like to be part of a growing company. We offer a friendly, close-knit working environment and competitive salaries. If you are a team player and like working in a goal-oriented, driven environment, this is the place for you. We currently have the following entry-level positions available: Investigators, Marketing Assistants, and Administrative Assistants.
Investigators
Our investigators initially receive in-house training to learn how to conduct surveillance investigations. They later take IEA courses to learn about how the workers' compensation system works. Here they will get a better understanding about the laws regarding the investigations that they'll someday be conducting: AOE/COE, subrogation, 132A/Wrongful Termination, Serious & Willful, and Fraud Investigations.
Training and schooling is an ongoing process for the life of an investigator. Our investigators are among some of the best trained in the industry, and continually participate in workers' compensation and private investigator courses to keep their skills current.
Once our investigators accumulate 6000 investigative hours (approximately three years of investigative work), we will then state the same in writing which will allow them to qualify to take their State examination to get their own P.I. License.
Not everyone is suited to the challenges of working as an investigator however. In our experience, an individual best suited for this job is someone who has excellent written and communication skills, is analytical and a problem solver, disciplined, has common sense, is responsible and reliable, able to work with little or no supervision, and willing to take the initiative to get a job done. The candidate must be able to work well under pressure because there may be times that you'll have to testify at trial on the work that you've completed.
We require that our investigators have a four-year college degree, their own vehicle, a valid driver's license, current auto registration, and full coverage auto insurance. You must be able to type at least 45 WPM. It would be in your favor, but is not required, to have the windows tinted on your automobile, a mini-DV video camera, a laptop computer, are bilingual, and have internet access.
Marketing Assistant
The role of the Marketing Assistant is to work under and in conjunction with the Marketing Coordinator. The range of tasks vary from advertising among various mediums, creating marketing products, maintaining current information on our website, and keeping good customer service with our existing clients as well as trying expand our current clientele base.
A four-year college degree is also required for this position. Among the job qualities we look for are good communication and written skills, and be reliable and personable.
Administrative Assistant
This is the backbone of our office. Our Administrative Assistants must have excellent telephone etiquette, good organizational skills, and a positive attitude. Daily tasks vary from answering phones, taking care of shipping and postal requests, filing, typing, and some records research.
